Take a Virtual Reality drone flight inside a real fireworks display at the Olympia Park in Munich.
The new VR headsets give you the impression to hover right in the middle of the firework.
Take that crazy 360 degree drone flight over and inside fireworks without leaving your home, even without leaving your couch!
Control the view in all directions during the flight by moving your head, look around, and look up and down, the firework is everywhere around you.
Observe the second synchronized firework which takes placed behind you, as picture in picture screen inside the VR.
There is no simulation involved in this all has been recorded with a special stealth drone able to record 360 degree video.
Our new VR Cardboard engine offers great VR performance, local play, no internet connection needed while watching the movie, clear and crisp display quality.
How to use the App:
Start the app and slip your iPhone into the VR headset (ie. Cardboard) and put it on your head. The App then uses the myriad of sensors already available on the iPhone to replicate your head movements, allowing you to look around the virtual environment.
The starting scene shows an interactive panorama from the place of the fireworks display during day time. In the starting home scene you can see the start icon for the actual 360 degree movie. Please look in the direction of the icon to start the 360 degree video.
While the 360 degree video is running you can activate a player control bar by moving your head up/down fast. When you see the white plus icon, focus the cursor to the plus icon and the video control bar will be displayed. Now you have the possibility to rewind the video track to any position you like. After a few second of inactivity the control bar will disappear again.
Of course, being made from Cardboard, the Google Cardboard isn’t the most comfortable headset to wear, especially over long periods of time. It’s a good starting point for mobile VR users, but if you find yourself still wanting to use VR after the initial novelty has worn off, it may be worth investing in a slightly more expensive, but more comfortable option, like the ones we’ve listed below.
